People throw around the word "mistreatment" around like an everyday word when there are idols actually getting mistreated in the worst way. ATEEZ is one of my ult groups and I am very protective of all of the members but there's a fine line between being a fan and being an overly possessive, obsesssive parasocial weirdo. The more popular ATEEZ has gotten, the more weirdos there are unfortunately. Yeosang is far from being mistreated. If those weirdos actually watched ATEEZ content, they'd know how vocal Yeosang actually is that the company and members all listen and support/implement his ideas. We've seen it in logbooks and most recently in the Wanteez content meeting video.
If it really was, I don't think any of them would've renewed 7 year contract. Their motto is "8 makes 1 team" for a reason. All eight of them have proven time and time again that they are ride or die for each other. If even one of them is being left out, the other seven will make it known and will put a stop to it
During the height of the comeback it was exhausting interacting with Atinys because they were always complaining about Yeosang and his "mistreatment." It really shows how little trust they have in him and the members
KQ and Ateez are one of the few idol-company relationships that are VERY collaborative esp with Hongjoong there, I think if there really is a serious problem something would be said.
And yeosang has never ever indicated anything regarding mistreatment. He can speak his mind comfortably and has done so on multiple occasions.
Do you really think the man would have resigned to KQ after seven years if he was mistreated? Who left BigHit/HYBE and had SEVERAL lovecalls from other agencies and picked KQ?
Yeosang is a grown man who can fight for himself. He is strong wiled and definitely not afraid to speak his mind
He ran away from home when his parents said he couldn't be an idol, I think if he really felt slighted by the company, he'd have the guts to do something about it. he has the right to think and he should be responsible for his own career and life without fans getting into his business.
He recently signed a contract renewal, he could have asked for anything and he would have gotten it because KQ depends on Ateez. So the fans saying his company is definitely ignoring his wishes are essentially arguing that he is completely incapable of advocating for himself and alluding to that is what should sound offensive to his fans.
All the members get less/more lines and screentime depending on the song and what the song needs. And to be honest, his voice is very deep and unique and it probably only fits in well in certain songs they do, which may explain the song choices where he gets more. That goes for any of the members
At this point I think they actually want him to be mistreated so they can claim they were right. Imo the only people mistreating Yeosang are those fans themselves
I am also convinced that some people just really do not enjoy being happy or enjoying their hobbies. They also don’t like others enjoying things either.
These people are only happy when they have something to complain about.
