Chenle is Chinese but sometimes I forget because he’s so fluent in Korean 😂 he’s my ult bias and everyday I feel so proud to be a chenle bias these days

Usually when K-pop stars get to hang out with western artists it feels awkward but not with chenle, it is so fun and he makes the mood so comfortable for the person , he’s such an amazing person to be next to , I hope they keep in contact off camera

I mean, I get why people are a little surprised that Chenle speaks English, but I think a lot of people either forgot or just don't know that he's mentioned this before and he mention this again in this video. Before he come to korea, maybe also when he first came to Korea or during NCT Dream's early debut days, he was actually more fluent in English than in Korean.

He has also said that English was one of his strongest subjects in school, along with Math. In fact, he once mentioned that his English grades were even higher than his Chinese grades.

When he first arrived in Korea, he was more fluent in English than Korean. But as time went on, he had to use Korean every day, focus on learning Korean, and rarely had opportunities to speak English. The reason people don't hear him speak English that often is probably because he's spent years using Korean every day. If you rarely use a language, you're bound to get a little rusty. But it's clear that he still understands and speaks English pretty well.
