I don’t think Heejin does it too, also during the live performances she doesn’t do it neither, perhaps we all thought it because in the MV she lips syncs it🤔 (because BBC is obsessed with her haha)
I always wondered how people notice those sound I can't hear at all. Maybe my hearing is bad I guess even with full on close attention I still can't hear her voice.
Leading up to the high note, you can hear two (opposing) voices while you’re shown Heejin and Chuu singing… however, I only hear one voice in the actual high note and there’s a Chuu centric dance part (I don’t know where Heejin goes in this part, but wouldn’t she be beside Chuu if she was also singing like at the end with Chuu and Kim Lip)
there is another harmony that is not the lowest one the video shows I think that is what Heejin sings it's the F-F#-A# not the one that is an octave down its just slightly below Chuu's lead melody
In some live version heejin only sing the "oh no" part before chuu high note(then i can only hear chuu voice). But in MV there are 2 voice that harmonize in that part, chuu is the high and heejin is the low. I think that is also a change that they make like heejin's position durung that part
If anyone’s confused, yes Heejin does do the high note with Chuu. It’s just her voice lowers when they both hit the high note, which is why it seems like it’s only Chuu.
I know she doesn’t hit it live, but come let’s be honest here. If she were to hit it live instead of Chuu, she would get a shit tone of hate and be called the favorite of the group.
Maybe it's bcuz when heejin and chuu got to the vocal studio heejin did the lower part of the high note just to make chuu's high note sound better👁️👄👁️(I think)

idk what it is but i cannot hear heejin in that, it sounds more like olivia hye? maybe heejin just lipsynced it during the mv for aesthetic purposes?
