Disney’s new movie “Wish” seems quite interesting. However, upon re-watching the trailers more closely, it appears that The King Magnifico might not be the villain he’s made out to be. Asha is clearly unhappy that The King doesn’t fulfill all the villagers’ wishes, and he openly acknowledges this. In response, Asha attempts to make a wish upon a star herself. Nevertheless, it’s not entirely clear if The King is in the wrong for not granting every wish. The direction of the story will likely depend on his underlying reasons for this. We’re curious to see how the plot unfolds and would love to hear your thoughts on it.

    1. Magnifico should have been the good guy..you literally pushed him to the edge and said it’s his fault….if you had become his assistant instead of trying to get a famliy members wish then it appears like you taking advantage..get the job then approach him about innocent wishes that are genuinely good and try to convince him on the topic…ITS NOT HARD! This movie was so dumb and the whole time I sided with magnifico

    2. Would Star have come down to Asha in response to her wish in the first place if her stance about the ungranted wishes was wrong? Asha didn't even begin to know how to move forward with her life after she saw all those trapped wishes when Star first came down. But the movie was very clear that the plan to return all of the trapped wishes to their owners was Star's plan, not Asha's plan.

    3. HE NEEDS THERAPHY OKAY?? HE NEEDS HIS WIFE AND THERAPHY. BUT THIS RANDOM TEEN GIRL TURNS EVERYONE AGAINTS HIM HE ONLY NEEDS SOME THERAPY THAT ALL AND THATS WHAT HIS PROBLEM IS. JUST SOME "thank you!"S AND HIS WIFE💔💔💔💔💔💔💔
(Dont you guys dare to say "he attacked his wife" its disneys fault, i mean its about the senario.)

    4. His underlining motive for not granting every wish was total anilation of his old town when he was a kid from someone getting their wish granted which was evil and or uncertain

    5. I haven't watched the movie but did they show repercussion of fulfilling everyone's wish? I don't think modern Disney has the guts to show that. Let's take Aladdin as an example. In it, Jafar made a wish to become the genie, and that was granted to him, but there was a repercussion to that wish. "Infinite cosmic power! Itty bitty living space" as one of the character put it.

    6. While he was explaining the importance of protecting the wishes, she was actively seeking out her grandpa's wish so she could ask him to grant it, completely disregarding the entire kingdom.

It wasn't until she was told "no" that suddenly it wasn't about her, it was about the entire kingdom, who never once asked for anyone to interfere with the lives they chose to live.
