    1. RM's album was a super well critically acclaimed album, won a lot of artistically oriented awards and no, his album didn't do "bts expected stream numbers" but for the genre it did amazing, experimental music doesn't perform well or at all, honestly, on hot 100 lists. People eat easy listening english songs, "mainstream sounding" and honestly mostly boring songs (musically speaking). RM's album was super good artistically speaking, music critics ate it up, I saw a lot of TikToks and written reviews saying they decided to listen to the rest of the members albums because RM's album was that good, and still saying they think RM has the best album. The best rated albums and songs by music critics are always RM's, SUGA's and J-hope's, always.

    2. It was American News in 2022/23 that compared BTS potential comeback to Elvis Presley, she is just Quoting the media said. Also Boracity is a Korean American based in America.

Also what I mean I would like to think RM album did Well, not the greatest but for him it was his highest ranking solo album in the US yet.

Right Place, Wrong Person (May 2024) did relatively Good. It sold over 585k copies in its first week in Korea, hit #2 on Japan’s Oricon chart (their Version of Billboard), and in the U.S. it debuted at #5 on the Billboard 200 and even topped the Billboard Rap Albums chart with 54k units.

    3. not yall comparing BTS with Stray Kids, i mean i have nothing against the guys but let's be for real rn, they have achieved less than 10% of BTS' success, even with 10 english albums they would never catch up.
In my opinion there is absolutely no door the name BTS cannot open. back when BTS announced their hiatus the only thing i knew about kpop was the name BTS, i was not a fan, never heard a song, never looked them up and guess what? even i knew they entered hiatus, it was that big. it will be the same when they come back. and actually it was the same for me with the jonas brothers, never liked them, never listened to them but i knew when they got back together

you need to get out of the kpop bubble for once and look up who has real impact worldwide. BTS achieved incredible things with korean projects, yall seem to forget they had stadium tours before having one english song in their discography. they had nr1 albums in 2018 before having one english song. been invited to the grammys before having one english song. BTS is not kpop nugus yall, they can open any door they want, in whatever language they want. this is literally why we say they paved the way, people nowadays think they can compare any kpop act with BTS but im quitely waiting for them to be humbled so bad by BTS' comeback because the disrespect is crazy… yall need to witness it yourselves to understand

and RM's album deserved all the positive reviews it got, maybe its cuz i love indie music and experimental music, but RPWP is literally my favourite solo BTS album, just cuz its not mainstream material it does not mean its bad, its just too difficult for certain people to get.

and also, why would they NOT want to be a group? why would they break up? they want to be BTS. its as simple as that. they said it so many times but people still act like the members are lying or something when they just like being a group lol… they want BTS to last

    4. I normally agree with you guys but with this video it felt like you guys were hearing but not listening and understanding or just going far from the point lol

I guess that's what I like about reaction videos, not always we'll have the same opinion 🤭

    5. as others have already said, RMs album is musically and artistically SO GOOD. its critically acclaimed. pop and mainstream rap isnt the only thing thats good just because it might be most popular or socially acceptable. Charts arent the only thing that matter. IDC what anyone says but personally RMs and Jhopes albums are always the best to my taste and along with Suga, always score the best with music critics. experimental, alt and indie isnt for everyone though. but that doesnt mean its bad. his sales and streams arent even horrible either. youre just expecting more since hes a bts member and his other mainstream pop members sell more which makes sense.

    6. This channel seems kinda delusional. They’re so emotionally attached to BTS that they can’t see how weird they come across and cant view things objectively at all. I like BTS but I feel many people are attached to the group on an unhealthy level.

    7. Your opinion is not worth for everyone, just because you didn't like it or thought it was bad, it doesn't mean anything, you are not critics, nor important people, you are just content creators on YouTube, you are not worth for everyone, just because you didn't, it doesn't mean that other people didn't like it, learn to respect the opinions of others so that you are respected too.

    8. RM's genre was experimental so it wasn't expected to do the usual streaming numbers because most audience don't , but it was so well crafted and most critically acclaimed album despite that it still did better than most of his peers. J-hope is not doing well in streaming ? all 3 of his songs are in top 10 of the songs released by rappers, there is new cover of mona lisa and Killing it girl coming up , it's a organic hit .and mind you Jhope had highest grossing tour for a kpop soloist in 2025.

Nobody has to lie about lyrically and musically RM's album is exceptional .

    10. Name a door BTS’s name couldn’t or didn’t open? They have been everywhere in America, literally everywhere you can possibly be.

    11. You lot are forgetting Jimins korean song Like Crzy hit no1 on BB hot 100 and has over billion streams. Same as sugas project dday all korean and it went high on BB charts

    12. their korean only albums get mainstream success Map of the soul persona/7 , Be , LY Her, Tear, Answer. All these albums were in korean only and they smashed into the west they were invited to american award shows to perform these songs from those albums. Basically if their next album is Korean only it will still break through to the west as we have seen in their past albums.

    13. 9:43 are you looking at the sales of the album to check if it’s the album of the year, just say it’s your opinion you aren’t critics nor are you music reviewers.😱 I’m honestly shocked have you never checked any album of the year list it’s usually divided between popularity and artistic value.

    14. Bts went viral during 2017, 18 while singing in korean not because of their english songs 😂 after watching so many videos about bts. You don't even have these much knowledge

    15. Oh they were BIG BIG waaay before dynamite. Like no group was touching them worldwide , I've noticed that u guys think they became global because of dynamite but no i was waiting for u to realize the impact their korean songs had worldwide. Even my grandma knew them in 2016 .

    16. They definitely can do a Korean Album with pride and will do good like they always did with their Korean Albums without English versios. Don't worry.

    17. RM's album ranked number 5 on Billboard. And critics from the music industry called the album one of the best albums of 2024. The video for the song Lost won a lot of prices internationally for its production. Anyway, it was not his number 1 goal to reach high charts with this album. It was a personal project, him working through things and figuring out things. Don't forget that it got released while he was serving in the military, so he was unable to promote it at all, to do interviews and live performances compared from Jungkook for instance that did all of this before he enlisted into the military. Jungkook's album was also created for a mainstream Western audience and it was completely in English, while RM's album was very experimental and was not to everyone's taste…

    18. I don't understand you guys. One minute you acknowledge the cultural barriers BTS faces in the Western market and say they would have an easier time singing in English, but then when ARMY or the members talk about examples of these situations, you don't acknowledge them and treat it as if it were the same for native speakers. Just decide already if the cultural barrier is hindering BTS or not.

    19. 3:03 this reminded me of how PISSED Lucas got about J. Cole's verse, and how Rashele desperately (but unsuccessfully) tried to ease the tension, the man was really mad LOL. definitely the funniest moment of all your reactions 🤣😮‍💨
