OMG this performance makes me sad every time. People accused GD of being "drunk" etc. because he was almost unsteady in the beginning, but in BIGBANG MADE the movie it was revealed he was actually having a hard time, almost passed out because he was exhausted after performing less than 10 songs or more without having a break. After this performance, he ran backstage again lying on the ground.
I love bae bae live but this version make me so sad when you know about Gdragon during the performance! like what the other person said below. Gdragon passed out multiple times during this performance. The only member that knew was t.o.p the others 3 didn't know until the end of the performance. you can slightly tell when top part came in he wasn't is normal self in this he was so worried about gd. There is footage from MADE the movie of this incident. if you ever react to the Made movie.
gd actually had a heat stroke that day that's why he looked 'drunk' he was dizzy you can see it in the MADE movie and still finished performing

A performance that still breaks my heart to this day. When performing this song, GD collapsed backstage several times due to extreme fatigue and oxygen deprivation. Yet, he still got back up, returned to the stage, and relied on his unyielding willpower and muscle memory to persist in finishing his part.
From defining the album concept and producing songs to preparing all aspects of the concert, plus performing over a dozen songs in a row without rest throughout the entire show, GD—who serves as both the leader and producer—takes care of every single detail. Just as I've always said, this is the charm that GD has, the very reason we have followed and loved him to this day, and he possesses an inspiring power!

And it's interesting that you bring up duality. As an OG V.I.P. from 2007… the difference between his onstage/public persona (G-Dragon) vs. his offstage/private persona (Kwon Ji Yong) was fairly obvious to those who paid attention. Personally, I would put him as a 70 – 30. Although, he used to be a 70% G-Dragon/ 30% Kwon Ji Yong….. but since he's come back, it's swapped. I think that he's now a 70% Kwon Ji Yong/ 30% G-Dragon.
