I’ve been doing a series on albums that came out in 1995. I’ve decided to break out one of my all time favorite debuts this time around with Adrenaline by Deftones. It sounds just as raw and feral as it did back in the 90s. Although I love this record, some Deftones fans don’t surprisingly enough.
How about you? Do you like Adrenaline? Love it? Hate it? or just kinda meh?
Do you miss the 90s?
Let me know what you’re listening to.
Late listening began as a series of conversations between Crescent and Jasmine about music, but this time it’s only Chris.
You are welcome to be a part of the conversation, too.

I generally dislike remixes / remasters, but if they could pull out those reels and run the guitars through something that doesn't sound like a fuzz pedal plugged right into the console? I'd be first in line.
Looked up “digging out boogers” (because it’s 3am) and this came up in the results 😭 love deftones tho glad to be here
Weird way to find this video (i was looking up walkman reviews lol), but glad i did. I just started listening to Deftones about a year ago, and when i first listened to this album, I didn’t really like it that much, but 3 months ago, it started to grow on me. My favorite songs are Bored, Engine no. 9 and Birthmark, but overall, I agree, it’s a great album, as you mentioned, it seems to have a varied range of genres, which i think that’s something that makes it special, you can’t reduce it into one genre, nor even two
I wish that I knew you in person! You seem like an amazing person that I would enjoy having hanging out with. Whether you'd like me as company, I don't know. But I love your attitude and personality. You've made me feel better just watching this. Thank you.
