I believe that her playing characters of different apparent ages (white outfit young, black outfit with tightly coifed hair old) she's intending to say that love is something everyone of every age wants. Self love and empowerment are themes that run through all of Mamamoo's work, so no surprise that multiple members solo work would address them. Mamamoo has not disbanded, but Illella was their last group comeback (2022) and then 2023 was their big US tour. All of us moomoo's are hoping for another ot4 comeback before much longer. There has been some hinting about this fall.
