Hi guys! I went to Japan in August and shot some footages!
Originally, I had a lot of video ideas in mind but after I met my bestie we had too much fun and completely forgot about filming. So here is a simple Japan travel vlog for you! Feel free to check out my itinerary:)
Day 1
Flight from HK to Osaka
Day 2
Ikoma 生駒(Edge of Nara)
Locations:
1. Hozan-ji Temple (Ikoma Shoten)寶山寺
We did not go up to the temple because my mum hurt her ankle before the trip so she couldn’t walk up the stairs but we wandered around the area
2. Random Cafe: Casa de Té Maharak 摩波楽茶屋

3. Ikoma Sanjo Amusement Park 生駒山上遊園地
Address: 2312-1 Yamatecho, Higashiosaka, Osaka 632-0231, Japan
4. Lunch: View Restaurant いこま山ビューレストラン(inside the amusement park)
5. Dessert: Komaya(Binsu)

6. Dinner: 牛タン焼肉 本町肉倶楽部 tongue be たんべえ (yakiniku restaurant)

This restaurant specialises in grilling beef tongue, I know it’s not for everyone but if you give it a try, I promise you won’t regret it!
Day 3
Breakfast: Eggs ’n Things

Minor 箕面
Locations:
1. Minoh Falls 箕面大滝

The view was magnificent and the scenry was soooooo giving the Ghibli vibe. It was quite a long walk but definitely worth the effort.
2. Lunch: Mister Donut Minoh Original Shop
Address: 6 Chome-1-30 Minoo, Minoh, Osaka 562-0001, Japan
Umeda
The fact that they actually sell noodle soup in a donut shop?!
Locations:
1. Dinner: Queux Norme(French cuisine)

I don’t really recommend this restaurant though lol
Day 4
Osaka
Breakfast: Osaka Kizu Market 大阪木津卸売市場
Address: 2 Chome-2-8 Shikitsuhigashi, Naniwa Ward, Osaka, 556-0012, Japan
It’s way better than Kuromon Ichiba Market! The price is very reasonable. They have a few shops in there so make sure you have a look at all the shops before you buy the seafood.
THE OYSTER WAS AS BIG AS MY FACE NO JOKE.
Wazuka 和束町
Location:

Originally we wanted to visit this cafe but its closed on that day:( The view there was wonderful!
2. Wazukacho Information Centre 和束町観光案内所
Address: Kyomachi-19 Kamatsuka, Wazuka, Soraku District, Kyoto 619-1212, Japan
The staff in this info center was super nice!
3. Lunch: Wazuka-cha Cafe 和束茶カフェ

We cleared the plate, need I say more?
Kyoto Arashiyama
Locations:
1. Hotel: Kyoto Arashiyama-Onsen Kadensho 京都 嵐山温泉 花伝抄
Address: 5-4 Arashiyama Nishiichikawacho, Nishikyo Ward, Kyoto, 616-0003, Japan
They serve free ramen after 10pm! Each of us had two bowls LOL
2. Togetsukyō Bridge 渡月橋

Not really special in summer ngl
Day 5
Yura 由良
Location:
1. Yura River Bridge由良川橋梁

WE MISSED THE TRAIN.
This spot is said to look like the tram on the sea in Spirited Away but we missed the train and couldn’t take a picture of it TT^TT
Amanohashidate 天橋立
Locations:
1. Lunch: Crab House海鮮工房

They sell out really fast and they only provide take away, best to buy before 12pm
2. Amanohashidate Viewland 天橋立ビューランド
Address: Monju, Miyazu, Kyoto 626-0001, Japan
Ine 伊根
Locations:
1. Airbnb: Funaoto 伊根海宿 舟音
Address: 610-9 Hirata, Ine, Yoza District, Kyoto 626-0423, Japan
It’s not a boat house but it was a superb stay. The host knows how to speak Japanese, English, Mandarin and Cantonese, very friendly!
We wanted to visit Ine Cafe but we were too late and it closes really early.
Day 6
Ine 伊根
Locations:
1. Ine Fish Market伊根浦漁業
Address: 610-2 Hirata, Ine, Yoza District, Kyoto 626-0424, Japan
It was right next to Funaoto, so even though we had to wake up at 6 in order to see the fish being offloaded, it was definitely worth a visit
2. Breakfast: Funaya Shokudo 舟屋食堂
address: 491 Hirata, Ine, Yoza District, Kyoto 626-0423, Japan
It’s on the second floor of the Ine Information Centre
3. Sea Taxi Ride
You can book it with the help of the staffs inside the info centre. My friend knows Japanese and has a Japan phone number so she could make the call.

4. Lunch: Ine Restaurant Funayaレストラン舟屋

After that we drove back to Osaka, had an okonomiyaki dinner and immediately began packing for our next trip— Jeju!
