I feel like people don't talk enough about how raw this performance is. Jiho is genuinely expressing pain and there's so much emotion in his voice I can't even sjfshkfs the lyrics are so heavy and his growls and his breathless rapping just kills me everytime.

-it’s you who decided to become an idol so live with the criticism and hate how dare you complain about it
-no matter what you are going through you should dance, sing/rap, perform properly or you are not professional how dare you disrespect us that pay to see you perform
– I paid for your albums/merch you belong to me how does he/she dare to date and those 2 aren’t even a good match
Zico’s lyrics never fail to impress me. He criticizes the Korean music industry without actually being insulting (not saying other countrie’s music industry are flawless but at least they don’t always have to hide everything they feel and smile 24/7 cuz how dare they be humans). He criticizes from another perspective yet you feel his own pain/feelings in this performance a lot. Zico is a very skilled producer!!!! Years ago I wrote a blog about why I respect Zico the most out of all Block b members (tho Zico ain’t even my bias) and other idols. Till this day my respect and love for him keeps growing.
