날마다 구름은 어딜 그리
바쁘게 다니는지
구름을 따라갈 수가 없어
날마다 뭐가 그리 재미있는지
숨고 나타나고
나타나고 숨는 구름을
찾을 수가 없어
날마다 몰래 누구를 만나는지
산도 가리고 하늘도 가리고
밤도 낮도 가리는 저 구름

where are the clouds
rushing off to?
I can’t follow
their busy paths.
Every day,
what are they having fun with,
hiding and appearing,
appearing and hiding—
I just can’t find them.
Every day,
who are they secretly meeting?
Covering the mountains,
covering the sky,
covering both night and day—
those clouds.
